The municipalities of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host this New Year’s Eve public or private parties to say goodbye to 2018 and to welcome 2019. Santa Cruz of Tenerife
The Plaza de la Candelaria will host today the celebration of the great New Year’s Eve party organized by the City of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. La Laguna
The municipality of La Laguna has designed a program of events to celebrate the farewell of the year 2018 that will have as main novelty the Children’s End of Year, which will take place in the Plaza de la Concepción, starting at 10:00 am, with free admission. During the activity is planned the special presentation of the children’s entertainment group Payasitas Nifu Nifa, as well as with the participation of Funny Kids, Butterfly Fairy, Disney Characters, Zumba Kids and the cast of Luckies of Luck. All under the animation of Airam Fernández.
After the day dedicated to the little ones, the Plaza de la Concepcion will also become the stage where the Happy New Year will take place La Laguna, a party that will start after the bells (0:00 hours on January 1, 2019) , in which will play the groups Ni 1 Pelo de Tonto and Los Vandals, closing the poster, Dj Fabrizio Salgado.

Los Realejos
The northern municipality was chosen this time for the bells that will be broadcast by Televisión Española in the Canary Islands. The City Council of Los Realejos has prepared an intense musical program that will be distributed in two scenarios. Mingo Show and its show Vamos y la liamos will take the game in the Viera y Clavijo square from 10pm, where the Old School will also be by Mr. Pérez. Adeje
One of the tourist engines of the south of Tenerife celebrates the arrival of 2019 starting at 23:00 hours. Adeje population will congregate in the Plaza de España to say goodbye to the year on a New Year’s Eve that will be enlivened by the orchestras Toque Latino, Sensación Gomera and Maquinaria. The square, which has been adorned with Christmas lights, will be filled with music, celebration and good wishes. On this day, the New Year’s Concert will be held in Salityen Square in Costa Adeje. Güímar
The City Council of Güímar invites you to live a special night with the Great End of the Year Party 2018 (free entry), which will take place in the Plaza de San Pedro starting at 11:30 p.m. The Department of Festivities has completed to the smallest detail to enjoy the last night of the year without leaving the municipality and start a good start this new year that is approaching, counting on the act with the performances of Tejina, Tropin, New Line , as well as the special performance of Luis Deseda.
Candelaria
The goodbye to 2019 in the Villa Mariana will be held in the Plaza de la Patronna de Canarias, the Virgin of Candelaria. It will become a great dance floor starting at 23:00 hours and adults will be able to enjoy the New Year’s Eve Party, enlivened by Tony Del Cielo and the orchestras Maracaibo, Tenerife and Malibu, in which we will say goodbye to 2018 and we will receive 2019.
Santiago del Teide
The bells of this end of year 2018 and subsequent entry to the new year 2019 will be broadcast live from the Plaza Buganvilla of Los Gigantes, in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, through the screen of Mírame TV for the Canary Islands. At the end of the chimes, attendees can enjoy a great welcome party of the new year, which will feature the performances of the orchestras Maraury, Corinto Band and Arguayo Band, all within a festive, family, close and endearing to everyone.
Granadilla de Abona
The nucleus of El Médano will celebrate its traditional New Year’s Eve party with a great dance to the rhythm of Aparrandados and the orchestras Deliciosa, Swing del Sur and Tropin. In addition, this year another dance is added in the plaza of the church of Los Abrigos, with the performances of the groups Cristalina and Ile Aye. The granadillero City Council will make available to the population free transportation of the bus through the different nuclei of the municipality.
Starting at 11.00 pm, the dances will begin in the squares of the two coastal cores, and starting at 10.00 pm, the special free bus service will begin. Eudita Mendoza explains that the departure of the transport will start at 10 pm and conclude at 6 am, and will have two routes: one that will depart from Chimiche, passing through Los Blanquitos, El Desierto, Granadilla, El Salto and up to El Médano, and another that will start in Charco del Pino and will run through San Isidro, Atogo, Casablanca, Los Abrigos and El Médano; being the return at 6:00 in the morning, from Playa Chica, in El Médano.
Guía de Isora
The Guía de Isora City Council will organize the celebration of New Year’s Eve for the first time since 2007. It will be in the Plaza de la Iglesia de Guía starting at 00:30 and will run until 5:30 in the morning. Arguayo Band and DJ Siverio will be in charge of putting music on the first night of the year in the Guía de Isora municipality. The Santiago Sanfiel band from Santiago has a long experience in brightening this type of event and promises to the neighbors that they will attend “a night with a varied repertoire and for everyone”. DJ Sivero, who we can usually listen to at the Café del Mar nightclub, will be in charge of closing the event.
