Tenerife has registered 5,146,181 tourists until November, an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period of last year, according to the Tenerife Cabildo reported Friday.
The Receptive Tourism Statistics of the Cabildo, analyzed by the Tourism Research Department of Tenerife, indicate that the growth of the hotel segment is even greater, 10.2%, compared to 3.8% of the extra-hotel.

TENERIFE SPANISH TOURISM
Regarding Spanish tourism, the Statistics of Receptive Tourism have a total of 1,095,177 housed up to November, a figure that represents a decrease of 2.7%, mainly due to losses in the Canary Islands market, which in the period From January to November, accumulated a decrease of 15% compared to the growth recorded in the same period the mainland market, namely 7.8%.
The overnight stays accumulated up to November amount to 38,834,202 stays, 8% more than in the same period of 2015, and the average stay is 7.55 days on average, which is the same as the previous year.
The occupation in the accumulated one reaches 73.2%, 8.9 percent higher than the one registered the previous year.
As for the data of hosted in the main tourist areas, the South of the Island accumulates until November an increase of hostages of 6%, with a number of 3,964,210 visitors.
The growth in the North reaches 16.6%, with a total of 926,158 customers staying in its tourist establishments.
TENERIFE NOVEMBER HOLIDAYS
The month of November concludes with a total of 434,444 tourists, 2.5% more than the same month of 2015.
